Karnataka Sangeeta, Talavadya and Bharatanatya Examinations
General Information

- Textbooks, syllabi, and other materials for each exam are provided under the Lessons menu.
- Pravesha Prathama, Dwiteeya (Junior levels 1 and 2), and Madhyama Prathama, Dwiteeya, and Truteeya (Senior levels 1, 2, and 3) are optional. Students can opt for this route for gradual progress.
- Pravesha Truteeya (Junior level 3) and Madhyama Chaturtha (Senior level 4) are mandatory and certification levels. These are considered for final grading, certification of completion, and scholarships. These levels should be attended by US and Canadian students in person in Dallas, TX. Appearing in person is optional for European students.
- Completion of “Pravesha – Truteeya” with a minimum grade of ‘C’ is a must to appear for any level of Madhyama.
- All registrants will get a detailed email about their selected examination after the registration.
- In unavoidable circumstances, if rescheduling, canceling, or holding is necessary, one should follow the steps provided at https://www.sangeetabharati.org/examinations/cancel-reschedule-reactivate/ at least two weeks before the examination.
- If the cancellation/holding is not requested on time and a student doesn’t show up for the exam, there will be no refund, and the registration will become void.
- Junior levels 1 and 2, senior levels 1, 2, and 3 are virtual. Junior level 3 and senior level 4 are in-person in Dallas.
- Though unnecessary, Sangeeta Bharati’s books and audio/video lessons can be used to prepare for the examination. Students are free to refer to any material and choose any song as long as the syllabus is covered and instructions are followed.
